Job Summary
To support cancer case management, the full-time Oregon Licensed Oncology Data Specialist will abstract newly diagnosed cancer cases, assist with case identification, and perform quality control procedures on data while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Abstract newly diagnosed cancer cases and assist with case identification
- Perform quality control procedures on data and respond to data inquiries
- Maintain database records, extract data, and submit reports to state and/or central registries
Required qualifications
- College level curriculum in Cancer Data Management or equivalent education/experience
- National Oncology Data Specialist certification from the National Cancer Registrars Association upon hire
