Oregon Licensed OPL Examiner

Job Summary

A company is looking for an OPL Examiner I to review claims for potential third-party investigations.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate claims related to potential third-party liability and generate necessary incident reports
• Sort, review, and triage returned incident reports and correspondence related to third-party claims
• Code claim and tracking systems accurately and provide technical support to maximize third-party savings

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience, preferably in claims processing
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-9 coding preferred
• Experience with claims systems and understanding of OPL rules and regulations is preferred
• Proficient use of PC and Windows software, including Microsoft Word and Excel
