Job Summary
Providing leadership and expert guidance, the full-time Oregon Licensed PAS Coordinator will manage referral processing, scheduling, and authorizations within the Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation department, ensuring excellent patient care and adherence to departmental standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee referral processing and scheduling for patients, ensuring timely access to care
- Manage authorizations for surgical cases and serve as a resource for managed care processes
- Train and mentor PAS Specialists and Resource Specialists, assisting with onboarding and performance evaluations
Required qualifications
- Two years of front-line clerical experience in a clinical setting with direct patient contact, including appointment scheduling
- Experience obtaining managed care authorizations is preferred
- Knowledge of PAS policies and procedures, with completed PAS training and core competencies
- Previous experience in an orthopedic practice is preferred
- Ability to work Monday to Friday with varying shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and telework options
