Job Summary
Oregon Licensed Patient Access Specialist provides full-time customer service support in a medical office setting, handling patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, and managing high-volume phone inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients, confirm appointments, and collect necessary payments
- Provide high-quality customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Answer incoming calls, triage requests, and document patient interactions
Required Qualifications
- Six months of work experience in a medical office or high-volume public contact position
- Basic computer keyboarding skills, typing 30-45 wpm
- Successful completion of a formal OHSU Administrative Internship Program may substitute for one year of experience
- Ability to maintain core competencies and complete required training
- Experience in a busy healthcare environment with frequent interruptions
