Job Summary

Oregon Licensed Patient Access Specialist, this full-time position serves as the first point of contact for the Department of Neurology, providing customer service, managing patient information, and performing front office duties both on-site and remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, confirm appointments, and collect necessary payments
  • Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external clients, including managing phone inquiries
  • Schedule appointments and verify patient information, ensuring accurate data entry into the medical record
Required Qualifications
  • Six months of experience in a medical office setting with direct patient contact or one year in a high-volume public contact position
  • Basic computer keyboarding skills with a typing speed of 30-45 wpm
  • Successful completion of a formal OHSU Administrative Internship Program may substitute for one year of experience
  • Demonstrated reliable attendance and punctuality in previous roles
  • Previous experience in a neurology setting is preferred
