Job Summary
Providing exceptional customer service, the full-time Oregon Licensed Patient Access Specialist will manage scheduling, referral management, and patient eligibility for the Connected Care Center clinical services while working onsite in a busy environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and healthcare providers while handling scheduling inquiries and appointment management
- Process patient registrations, verify insurance coverage, and ensure financial clearance prior to visits
- Coordinate referrals and maintain accurate patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Required qualifications
- One year of experience in a medical office setting with high-volume patient contact, including appointment scheduling
- Thorough knowledge of Patient Access Services (PAS) policies and procedures
- Demonstrated advanced user skills in PAS and familiarity with integrated care practices
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in online scheduling and database management
- Ability to handle high volumes of patient interactions and multitask effectively in a busy environment
