Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and document transactions on insurance accounts, ensuring correct setup and resolution of issues
• Communicate with staff and insurance companies to facilitate timely processing of account transactions
• Perform quality assurance reviews and prioritize accounts to maximize aged accounts receivable resolution

Required Qualifications

• Two years of recent experience in billing or collecting healthcare accounts, or four years of general collection or customer service experience
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) required within 18 months of hire
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
