Oregon Licensed Payroll Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Payroll Accountant to support a dynamic, multi-entity organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Review payroll calculations and ensure alignment with general ledger entries and month-end close activities
• Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and analyze payroll expenses
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support payroll processing, funding, and compliance

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in corporate accounting, including payroll accounting
• Strong experience with payroll accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Exposure to equity or incentive-based compensation accounting is preferred
• Experience with enterprise payroll platforms and advanced Excel skills
• Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting processes
