Oregon Licensed Payroll Manager

Job Summary

Leading the payroll operations for a large, multi-state organization, the full-time Oregon Licensed Payroll Manager will ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing while providing strategic leadership and fostering collaboration across various departments in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the payroll team, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance with tax regulations and union contracts
• Implement processes for employee payments and garnishments, analyzing trends and optimizing payroll operations
• Address employee inquiries and collaborate with other departments to resolve complex payroll-related issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Payroll, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum six (6) years of experience in payroll or a directly related field, or nine (9) years of relevant experience without a degree
• At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership role
• Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll
• Proven ability to manage operational budgets and lead teams effectively
