Job Summary
A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient engagement and assist in identifying barriers to recovery
- Educate patients on community resources and facilitate care transitions
- Maintain communication with patients and report necessary situations to appropriate personnel
Required Qualifications
- Peer certification in Oregon or Washington State, active and in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in peer support and 2 years of personal recovery experience
- Certification as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) expected within 9 months of hire
- High degree of trustworthiness and professionalism, ensuring patient confidentiality
- Ability to connect with local recovery resources and assist individuals in leveraging them
