Job Summary
A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Specialist to provide peer-based recovery support services in a fully remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient engagement and assist in identifying barriers to recovery
- Educate patients on community resources and facilitate care transitions
- Maintain communication with patients and Care Team members, reporting on patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active peer certification in Oregon or Washington State
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in peer support and lived experience in recovery
- Certification as a National Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (NCPRSS) expected within 9 months of hire
- High degree of trustworthiness and professionalism, with a focus on patient confidentiality
- Ability to connect individuals with local recovery resources
