Job Summary
To support OHSU's Strategic and Organizational Performance Improvement Plans, the full-time Oregon Licensed Performance Consultant will manage performance improvement projects, facilitate training, and provide consultation to enhance operational efficiency and clinical effectiveness in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and lead performance improvement initiatives, managing projects and facilitating Kaizen events to achieve key performance indicators
- Consult and coach departments on performance improvement methodologies, building internal capabilities and recommending monitoring activities for sustainability
- Provide training in performance improvement concepts to OHSU employees, identifying self-development needs and remaining current in industry trends
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, science, business, engineering, or statistics, with relevant continuing education in performance improvement
- Five years of experience in performance improvement, demonstrating successful lean six sigma projects
- Evidence of project management skills and detail-oriented, superb organizational abilities within the last two years
- Expertise in office automation software and a basic understanding of statistical and data analysis
- Certification in performance improvement methodologies, such as Sigma or Lean Certification, is required
