To facilitate the development of a new Doctor of Physical Therapy program, the part-time Oregon Licensed Physical Therapy Course Writer will create course content, including lectures and assessments, and may also serve as an instructor, collaborating closely with the program director and instructional design staff in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Create course content and resources, ensuring alignment with program standards and learning outcomes
- Coordinate successful course delivery by providing key documents and adhering to deadlines
- Contribute material for the program's culminating assessments and engage in continuing education and professional development
Required qualifications
- Degree from a US-accredited physical therapy program
- Oregon Physical Therapist License effective by start date (if teaching course)
- Prior experience teaching in a clinical or academic setting
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with general computing tasks and familiarity with systems like Canvas and Zoom
- Effective management skills for faculty and students in professional degree programs
