Job Summary
A company is looking for a RN Clinical Document Integrity Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve the quality and completeness of clinical documentation to support accurate coding and reimbursement
- Provide training and education to healthcare providers and caregivers on clinical documentation best practices
- Review clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure proper DRG assignment
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and ability to pass a clinical competency exam
- Doctor of Medicine or Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master of Science in Nursing preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care or Clinical Documentation experience in a hospital setting
- Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice or Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist
- Experience with clinical documentation software preferred
