Job Summary

A company is looking for a RN Clinical Document Integrity Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Improve the quality and completeness of clinical documentation to support accurate coding and reimbursement
  • Provide training and education to healthcare providers and caregivers on clinical documentation best practices
  • Review clinical documentation for accuracy and completeness, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure proper DRG assignment
Required Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and ability to pass a clinical competency exam
  • Doctor of Medicine or Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master of Science in Nursing preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care or Clinical Documentation experience in a hospital setting
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice or Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist
  • Experience with clinical documentation software preferred
