Oregon Licensed Senior Accountant
Job Summary
Providing accounting support for a multi-state company, the full-time Oregon Licensed Senior Accountant will manage project cost accounting, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting principles while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze accounting and financial records to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Ensure compliance with ASC 842, including lease tracking and journal entries
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and conducting account reconciliations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior accounting function
- Experience with lease accounting under ASC 842
- Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably MS Dynamics 365
- Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
