Job Summary
To support the monitoring and optimization of Solar and Energy Storage systems, the full-time Oregon Licensed Solar Data Analyst will analyze real-time data, identify performance trends, and collaborate with technical teams to address system issues remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor real-time data from Solar and Energy Storage sites to identify anomalies and performance deviations
- Analyze system performance metrics to ensure optimal efficiency and compliance with industry standards
- Utilize data visualization tools to present insights effectively to management and engineering teams
Required qualifications
- Electrical engineering degree or electrical license with two years of solar operations and maintenance experience
- Experience with machine learning applications for predictive maintenance in PV and BESS systems
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, SQL, Excel, and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and renewable energy asset management software
- Knowledge of grid-scale energy storage operations and regulatory frameworks
