Oregon Licensed Spanish Translator

Job Summary

Providing accurate translation services between English and Spanish, the full-time Oregon Licensed Spanish Translator will produce timely translations for medical documents and marketing materials while supporting translation services through project work and consultation on best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Completes translation projects for medical documents and educational materials while ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance
• Communicates professionally with translation requestors and participates in departmental planning and process improvement initiatives
• Educates internal stakeholders on effective translation practices and cultural awareness for LEP populations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Five years of documented professional translation experience
• Three years of experience translating in the medical field
• Native Spanish speaker with English fluency, both written and spoken
• Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and the translation process
