Oregon Licensed Structural Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Structural Design Engineer 4.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced structural engineering tools to design Nuclear Safety-Related and Non-Safety-Related structures, including post-processing analytical results
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and structural engineering consultants to coordinate design activities and resolve technical challenges
• Develop, review, and finalize requirement documents, methodology documents, design reports, and related studies

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; an advanced degree is preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in nuclear/non-nuclear structural design
• Proficiency in designing and analyzing concrete and steel structures, with expertise in design software and finite element method analyses
• Familiarity with codes such as ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, and AISC N690
• Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810
