Job Summary
A company is looking for a Structural Design Engineer 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced structural engineering tools to design Nuclear Safety-Related and Non-Safety-Related structures, including post-processing analytical results
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and structural engineering consultants to coordinate design activities and resolve technical challenges
- Develop, review, and finalize requirement documents, methodology documents, design reports, and related studies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; an advanced degree is preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in nuclear/non-nuclear structural design
- Proficiency in designing and analyzing concrete and steel structures, with expertise in design software and finite element method analyses
- Familiarity with codes such as ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, and AISC N690
- Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810
