Oregon Licensed Structural Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Structural Design Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced structural engineering tools to design Nuclear Safety-Related and Non-Safety-Related structures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and structural engineering consultants to coordinate design activities
• Develop, review, and finalize requirement documents, methodology documents, design reports, and related studies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; advanced degree preferred
• At least 8 years of experience in nuclear/non-nuclear structural design
• Proficiency in designing and analyzing concrete and steel structures with expertise in design software
• Familiarity with relevant codes such as ASCE 43, ACI 349, and IBC
• Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810
