Job Summary

A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Trauma Registry activities, including data collection, management, analysis, and reporting
• Abstract patient data and generate reports for state and regulatory agencies
• Participate in the preparation and maintenance of hospital Trauma Center designation and support data submission to relevant agencies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare (trauma) industry
• Less than 1 year of preferred experience in abstracting and coding using ICD-10 CM
• Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) coding certification required within 12 months of hire
• Successful completion of anatomy course and relevant trauma registrar training within specified timeframes
