Job Summary
Oregon Licensed Warmline Operator provides part-time, non-exempt support to callers by offering confidential and non-judgmental assistance while practicing Intentional Peer Support principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide phone support to callers and maintain data logs of warmline activity
- Participate in ongoing training and collaborate with team members for continuous improvement
- Prepare reports and communicate information in a timely and professional manner
Required Qualifications
- Must identify as a person with lived experience of having big feelings
- Completion of Core Training in Intentional Peer Support (IPS) and registration as a Peer Support Specialist within six months
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and participate in ongoing training
- Understanding of cross-cultural issues and effects of PTSD/trauma within three years
- Must pass criminal background checks and pre-hire drug screening
