Oregon Utilization Review Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the intake and processing of prior authorization requests, the full-time Oregon Utilization Review Specialist will manage workflow coordination, ensure compliance with regulations, and communicate with healthcare providers while working in a hybrid environment that requires occasional travel to Roseburg, OR.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the intake, tracking, and routing of prior authorization requests and supporting documentation
• Communicate with healthcare providers to resolve documentation issues and ensure timely processing of requests
• Monitor and report on turnaround times to ensure compliance with organizational requirements

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and data entry
• Ability to type a minimum of 45 words per minute with high accuracy
• No suspension, exclusion, or debarment from federal healthcare programs
• Experience using standard office equipment and systems
