Job Summary
Seeking experienced organizers, the full-time Organizing Manager will lead a regional team of 12-15 part-time Neighborhood Captains in a hybrid role, focusing on recruitment, team management, quality control, and direct voter outreach through the 2026 election cycle.
Key responsibilities:
- Recruit high-quality candidates for the Neighborhood Captain role through community networks and participate in the interview process
- Manage and train a cohort of Neighborhood Captains, providing support and conducting regular feedback sessions to maintain high retention rates
- Oversee data quality and perform outreach verification, ensuring accurate data entry and effective voter engagement
Required qualifications:
- 2-3+ years of experience in community organizing or political campaigns, particularly in management or leadership roles
- Proficiency in data interpretation and technology use for tracking outreach metrics and troubleshooting applications
- Strong community outreach experience with established connections in the local area
- Exceptional training and facilitation skills, with a focus on emotional intelligence and coaching
