OrioleDB Developer

Job Summary

Driving the evolution of OrioleDB, the full-time remote OrioleDB Developer will design and implement new features, enhance stability through testing, and collaborate with the PostgreSQL community to integrate OrioleDB with Supabase's managed offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new capabilities in OrioleDB, including index access methods and disaster recovery tooling
• Strengthen OrioleDB's reliability through comprehensive testing and improvements to CI infrastructure
• Contribute changes to the PostgreSQL core and ensure seamless integration with Supabase's Postgres team

Required qualifications

• Existing contributor to PostgreSQL core or equivalent experience in database internals
• Expert C programmer with 8+ years of experience in low-level systems programming
• Deep familiarity with PostgreSQL's codebase, build system, and extension APIs
• Experience designing or implementing database storage engines or query execution components
• Proficient in debugging and profiling complex C code within a database context
