Orthodontic Billing Consultant
Job Summary
To support orthodontic practices, the full-time Orthodontic Billing Consultant will provide dental billing services from a remote location, focusing on submitting clean claims, posting payments accurately, and following up on aged claims to ensure timely collections.
Key responsibilities
- Collect 100% of what is owed by submitting clean claims within 24 hours and posting payments accurately
- Follow up on aged claims over 30 days every 14 days to maintain zero aging over 90 days
- Work independently to meet established goals and ensure effective billing processes for orthodontic practices
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with an orthodontist, preferably within the last 12 months
- Dedicated workspace with a reliable computer, printer, and high-speed internet meeting IT requirements
- Proficiency in accurately posting payments and adjustments
- Strong understanding of the processes required to help offices collect what is rightfully owed
- Self-directed with the ability to set goals and work independently
