Job Summary

A company is looking for an Orthopaedic Surgeon Advisor to a Healthcare Venture Capital Fund.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical reviews of healthcare technologies affecting surgical workflows and rehabilitation support
• Validate clinical claims, safety frameworks, and assess scalability and patient pathways
• Advise portfolio companies on peri-operative coordination and emerging trends in clinical decision assistance

Required Qualifications

• Board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with experience in relevant surgical care
• Familiarity with post-acute recovery norms and pain-safety standards
• Experience with digital health and remote care models is recommended but not required
• Ability to translate surgical realities into investment criteria and clinical risk assessments
• Interest in innovation and the venture ecosystem in healthcare
