Orthopaedic Surgeon Advisor

Job Summary

To support a venture capital fund, the part-time Orthopaedic Surgeon Advisor will provide clinical insight into musculoskeletal care, evaluate healthcare technologies, and advise portfolio companies remotely for approximately 2-3 hours per month.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate startups through the lens of orthopedic surgery, focusing on workflows, care pathways, and outcomes tracking
• Assess investment opportunities in digital health, orthopedic devices, and surgical technologies
• Advise on orthopedic workflows and integration within healthcare systems and regulatory frameworks

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with Orthopedic Surgery training
• Active clinical practice preferred
• Strong understanding of orthopedic workflows and hospital operations
• Familiarity with medical devices and value-based care
• Interest in digital health and healthcare innovation
