Orthopedic Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Provider Coding Specialist- Orthopedic.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze medical records and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes
• Review and resolve coding edits, denials, and clearinghouse rejection errors
• Provide education and feedback to clinical staff regarding coding best practices

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• 2+ years of abstract coding for physician services required
• Minimum of four years of healthcare experience, with at least three years in Orthopedics or OB/GYN required
• Licensure or certification from AHIMA required
• Experience working remotely preferred
