Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scheduling Specialist - Orthopedics.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with scheduling, canceling appointments, and referring to appropriate staff
• Provide professional customer service by verifying patient demographics and insurance information
• Maintain and update physician schedules and document patient account actions accurately

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous medical clerical experience
• Understanding of medical terminology
• Experience with Navinet, ECW, or EPIC
• One year of experience in insurance authorizations is desirable
