Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Review Physician specializing in Orthopedic Surgery for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct coverage reviews based on member plan benefits and render coverage determinations
• Document clinical review findings and communicate with providers regarding benefit determinations
• Engage in peer-to-peer discussions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality medical care

Required Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active unrestricted license to practice medicine
• 5+ years of clinical practice experience post-residency
• Sound understanding of Evidence Based Medicine (EBM)
