Orthopedic Surgery Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Orthopedic or Spine Medical Director - Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction for the claims review program
• Review surgical and spinal claims for correct coding and participate in provider discussions
• Support compliance with regulatory standards and provide clinical support for review staff

Required Qualifications:

• Current, active, and fully unrestricted medical license
• Current board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
• 5+ years of clinical experience in Orthopedic surgery, specializing in spinal surgery post-residency
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
