Job Summary

A company is looking for an Orthopedic Surgery Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review surgical and professional claims for correct coding using clinical record
• Participate in training and ongoing internal performance consistency reviews
• Support compliance with regulatory agency standards and requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Current, active and fully unrestricted Medical license
• Board certified in Orthopedic surgery
• 5+ years of clinical experience in Orthopedic Surgery post residency
• Demonstrated use and knowledge of coding and billing practices
• Proficient computer skills to include MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and Power Point)
