Orthotics DME Care Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Orthotics DME Referral Care Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage DME referrals, ensuring timely authorization, ordering, and delivery confirmation while maintaining communication with referral sources and patients
• Provide accurate pricing to the Billing Department and expand the list of DME providers to secure competitive pricing
• Coordinate tasks with internal teams to ensure efficient information flow and respond to inquiries within established timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Some college credit and/or experience in a related discipline
• At least one year of related experience in healthcare, DME, insurance, or physician practice
• Knowledge of medical terminology and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and work well with co-workers
• Proficiency in standard office equipment and software, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
