OSINT Investigator

Job Summary

Building a talent pool for future opportunities, the OSINT Investigator will conduct open-source intelligence research and analysis to support Afghan projects, utilizing language skills and OSINT methodologies in a remote, contract role that can be full-time or part-time.

Key responsibilities

• Employ OSINT and SOCMINT tools to conduct comprehensive investigations and format findings for reporting
• Conduct research and analysis in support of project reporting objectives, including social media monitoring and verification techniques
• Synthesize findings into engaging narrative reports and assist in training other organizations using language skills

Required qualifications

• Knowledge of Afghan history, culture, and politics
• Proficient in Farsi Dari, Pashto, and preferably Urdu
• Proven track record in OSINT-driven investigations
• Experience in media monitoring projects with sizeable datasets
• Expertise in using OSINT tools, platforms, and methodologies
