OSP Design Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an OSP Design Engineer III to lead fiber design projects and support the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and optimization of large-scale FTTH/FTTP fiber optic networks
• Oversee and review High Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs), providing technical guidance
• Manage advanced GIS and CAD workflows, ensuring data validation and quality assurance across platforms

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in OSP fiber network engineering and design
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, GIS, Telecommunications, or related field preferred
• Deep knowledge of FTTH, centralized and distributed split architecture, and hybrid tap models
• Advanced proficiency with engineering software such as ESRI, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of permitting workflows and jurisdictional design standards
