OSP Designer II
Job Summary
As a key member of the Fiber Design & Implementation team, the full-time OSP Designer II will be responsible for planning, designing, documenting, and permitting FTTx build-outs while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Reads and interprets maps, drawings, and diagrams for Telecom/FFTx OSP construction
- Creates and reviews fiber assignments and high- to low-level designs
- Communicates with project managers and field personnel to ensure accurate deliverables meet deadlines and client expectations
Required qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of experience in telecom engineering and design
- Working knowledge of GIS, including ArcGIS/QGIS/Google Earth
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other CAD-based software
- Ability to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for Telecom/FFTx OSP construction
