OSP Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote OSP Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed outside plant facility engineering tasks, including estimating, analyzing, and designing for copper and fiber cables
• Prepare and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and reports, and conduct periodic job inspections for quality control
• Collaborate with multiple groups on network element designs and manage project budgets and documentation

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Ability to identify and relocate existing voice/data plant and utilities
• Experience managing other OSP Engineers and reviewing their projects
• Expert knowledge of COE/OSP principles and work order procedures
• Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) for engineering requirements
• Must possess own tools for field measurements and inspections
