OSP Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an OSP Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed outside plant facility engineering tasks including estimating, designing, and planning for copper and fiber cables
• Prepare and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and reports while tracking job budgets and conducting quality control inspections
• Collaborate with multiple groups to design network elements and write project implementations for Fiber to the Home, Copper DSL, and other solutions

Required Qualifications

• Ability to identify existing utilities on site plans and in the field
• Experience managing OSP Engineers and reviewing their projects
• Expert knowledge of COE/OSP principles and work order procedures
• Must possess own tools necessary for field measurements and assessments
• Understanding of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) for engineering requirements
