OSP Make-Ready Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an OSP Make-Ready Engineer to evaluate aerial pole infrastructure and produce compliant documentation for fiber deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate aerial utility poles for structural viability and attachment opportunities
• Conduct detailed pole loading analysis using relevant software
• Develop make-ready recommendations and prepare MRE/PLA reports

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in OSP aerial engineering or pole loading analysis
• Proficiency with pole loading software such as O-Calc, SpidaCalc, or PoleForeman
• Solid understanding of NESC standards and pole structure classifications
• Experience preparing permit-ready MRE packages
• Familiarity with KMZ mapping or GIS platforms is a plus
