OSP Mapping Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for an OSP Mapping & RFP Specialist who will manage build planning and bid responses for outside-plant construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Open, review, and interpret geospatial data and produce preliminary takeoffs and bill of materials
• Translate routes to constructible sequences and support permit packs and precon meeting materials
• Read and interpret RFP documents, lead RFI tracking, and prepare full response packages for submissions

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years in OSP/underground utilities construction estimating, design support, or field engineering
• Proficiency with KMZ/KML and at least one GIS/mapping platform (Google Earth Pro, QGIS, or ArcGIS)
• Ability to read civil/utility plan sets and understand construction methods and requirements
• Intermediate Excel skills and experience with project tracking tools like SharePoint or Smartsheet
• Strong business writing and document control skills
