OSP Permit Specialist

Job Summary

To support construction activities, the fully remote OSP Permit Specialist I will acquire and coordinate all necessary permits while ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations, maintaining communication with relevant authorities, and assisting with utility easements and verification requests.

Key responsibilities

• Submit permit applications for State DOT and railroad crossings, ensuring compliance with standards
• Coordinate with field personnel and CAD Tech to manage permit priorities and ensure compliance with entity standards
• Track and communicate the status of all permit applications to relevant teams and process completed permits as required

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Strong customer service experience and familiarity with GIS/CAD applications preferred
• High level of competency with MS Office software suite; Smart sheet knowledge is a plus
• Ability to read and navigate online mapping systems
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
