OSP Project Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time OSP Project Engineer, the successful candidate will plan and prepare construction drawings for fiber optic installations, ensuring optimal routing and compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction and installation drawings for fiber optic projects, including design and splicing sequences
• Manage and track OSP work schedules, develop cost studies, and report on project progress and budget forecasting
• Liaise with city officials and customers to manage permitting processes and land acquisitions for easements

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience in OSP Engineering, Construction, or Operations
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA rules, NESC requirements, and telecommunications regulations
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CAD and fiber mapping platforms
• Demonstrated project management experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
