Job Summary
As an Out-of-Stock Vehicle Buyer, the remote position will source, negotiate, and secure in-stock dealer vehicles that meet client specifications while ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Locate and secure in-stock dealer inventory matching client specifications, minimizing substitutions
- Negotiate dealer purchase prices to protect fleet program margins and manage incentives
- Maintain accurate purchase documentation and ensure compliance records are complete for every unit acquired
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience purchasing vehicles from dealerships
- Strong understanding of dealer pricing structures and fleet incentives
- Experience in fleet management, FMC operations, or dealership fleet sales is preferred
- Familiarity with productivity and fleet tools, including the Atlassian suite and CRMs
- Ability to synthesize data into clear communications and reports
