Outpatient Cath Coding Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Outpatient Cath Coding Specialist will work remotely, providing CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM coding for various specialties while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and maintaining high accuracy rates.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide coding services for outpatient Cath/IVR cases, ensuring accurate application of diagnosis and procedure codes
• Interpret coding guidelines and maintain compliance with ethical standards and company policies
• Participate in ongoing training and maintain productivity and quality scores of 95% or higher

Required qualifications:

• Certification through AAPC (CPC or COC) or AHIMA (CCS or CCS-P) is mandatory
• Minimum of 6 months of on-the-job coding experience is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is necessary
• Working knowledge of EMR and billing systems is essential
• Must have a reliable internet connection and access to current coding materials
