Outpatient CDI Project Leader

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outpatient CDI Project Leader to guide projects and implement outpatient documentation improvement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, monitor, and evaluate project results while ensuring quality and profitability
• Manage client expectations and deliverables through regular communication and meetings
• Provide mentoring and training to staff, sharing expertise on project methodologies and deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with an active credential from ACDIS, AHIMA, or AAPC
• Subject matter expertise in Outpatient CDI within a consulting environment
• Strong industry knowledge in mid-revenue cycle operations and related key trends
• Proven foundational consulting skills, including analytical and critical thinking
• Strong clinical background and knowledge of OP/Profee coding and risk adjustment methodologies
