Job Summary

A company is looking for an SDS Facility Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve charge capture accuracy through workflow assessments and coding reviews
• Conduct audits and coding reviews to ensure documentation is precise and accurate
• Collaborate with the billing department and communicate with insurance companies regarding coding errors and disputes

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Medical Billing/Coding Diploma or Certificate
• Coding certification through AAPC or AHIMA related to Facility, Outpatient, or Ancillary coding
• 2+ years of SDS medical coding experience
• Proficiency in outpatient coding and billing procedures
