Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outpatient Medical Coding Auditor for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to cost reduction by ensuring accuracy of provider contract payments and claims payment
• Analyze and manipulate databases, respond to medical information requests, and make decisions regarding work methods
• Follow established guidelines and procedures, handle coding disputes, and trend results

Required Qualifications:

• CPC or CCS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience reading and interpreting claims
• Minimum 3 years of outpatient coding audit experience in health insurance or hospital settings
• Working knowledge of CPT/HCPCS auditing and Microsoft Office Programs
• Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality
