Outreach Specialist

Job Summary

As the first point of connection for cancer survivors, the part-time Outreach Specialist will conduct outreach, engage patients in meaningful conversations about their needs, and guide them toward their first appointment while providing administrative support in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outreach by making outbound calls to eligible cancer survivors to introduce services and assist with scheduling care
• Prepare patients for visits by ensuring they have the necessary information and tech support for their first appointment
• Manage patient communication, including sending appointment confirmations and follow-up emails, while coordinating with the care team to enhance the patient experience

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a patient-facing, customer service, sales, or care coordination role
• Warm, professional, and empathetic phone presence
• Comfort with cold-calling and high-volume outreach to engage patients
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Tech-savviness with tools such as EHRs, CRMs, and patient communication platforms
