Outside Plant Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an OSP Engineer - II.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement upgrades, repairs, and enhancements to the Outside Plant electronics telephony network
• Coordinate with various client departments and engage directly with customers, including builders and property owners
• Manage and price out solutions, selecting the most effective designs while working on Local Law 97 switch decommission work

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical/science/mathematics fields
• Proficient in computer skills, including Windows-based programs and corporate database systems
• Experience managing multiple assignments simultaneously
• Prior knowledge of telecom Outside Plant Engineering Practices and systems is a plus
• Experience with CAD programs and proficiency in MS Excel and/or MS Access is desirable
