Outside Plant Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Outside Plant Engineer III.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and develop drawings for the construction, removal, or rearrangement of overhead and underground lines, cables, and conduits
• Design work orders for broadband technology and conduit systems, including bills of materials (BOMs) and cost estimates
• Conduct field surveys and route engineering for new builds and rehabilitation projects

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Outside Plant engineering experience
• Experience with dark fiber and 3GIS
• Proficiency in Visio and KMZ build experience
• Working knowledge of aerial and underground OSP design standards
• Experience with cost estimating and BOM development for OSP construction projects
